The Challenge
I Love Boston Sports was hosting a new type of event, where fans could receive first access to limited edition products and meet a popular player. While the brand had previously hosted player appearances, they had not previously hosted an event with this format or on this scale and needed help educating the audience about the event and selling tickets.
The Solution
To educate the audience about the event and drive ticket sales, we recommended and executed a two-phased approach to paid and email promotion, including:
- Initial Meta Ads and email campaigns targeted specifically at past purchasers of relevant products, as these customers were eligible for early access to tickets.
- Expanded Meta Ads and email campaigns to educate the general public about the event and encourage ticket sales after the early access period ended.
- Email campaigns to ticket purchasers in the days before the event and on the day of the event with essential information to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
